Winter theology courses offered at Roncalli High School

MANITOWOC — Roncalli High School, part of Roncalli Catholic Schools, will hold “Learning on the Journey: A Winter Series on Catholic Faith, Practices and Perspectives” beginning Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.

Some of the topics discussed within the series will include “The Life of Moses,” signs in science, marriage, the women of the genealogy of Jesus and the sacred in stained glass.

The series is open to the public and there is no admission fee. All sessions will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Jan. 7 and concluding Feb. 11 at Roncalli High School, 2000 Mirro Drive, Manitowoc. A social with refreshments will follow each session.

The series is presented with support from the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Green Bay and the Koch Foundation.

Presenters include: Fr. David Beaudry, Michelle Bishop, Fr. Matt Colle, Taylor Geiger, Callie Hynek, Janine McIlheran, Ph.D., Emily Rudolph, Paul Schweigl, Th.D., and Dianne Vadney.

Each session will feature four speakers. The lineup for the series is as follows:

Participants may attend as many or few session dates as they’d like. No reading or homework will be required to participate. Attendees should enter through the Fine Arts Center doors. Child care services will be provided. Registration is not required, but appreciated, especially by families who will be bringing children.
