DE PERE — St. Norbert College philosophy professor Ben Chan returns to “Jeopardy!” and the Tournament of Champions on Tuesday, March 5, in a quarterfinal matchup.
In the Green Bay-Fox Valley viewing area, “Jeopardy!” airs at 6 p.m. on WLUK-TV Fox 11.
Last spring, Chan put together an impressive nine-game winning streak, taking home $252,600, giving him the third-highest total of any “Jeopardy!” champion during the 2022-23 season.
“I was so fortunate to be able to do so much during my original run. I think the Tournament of Champions is a great opportunity to see if I have ‘another gear’ and to get the spotlight back on Green Bay, De Pere and St. Norbert College,” said Chan.
The nine quarterfinal winners move on to one of three semifinal rounds on March 7, 8 and 11. Those three winners then advance to the finals, which begin March 12.
The first champion to win three games in the best-of-seven finals series takes home the $250,000 grand prize and competes in the upcoming “Jeopardy! Masters” primetime event on ABC, which is aired locally on WBAY-TV 2.
