MUSICAL: Roncalli Middle School, part of Roncalli Catholic Schools, will stage the musical “Footloose: Youth Edition” at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Roncalli High School’s Zimmer Auditorium in the Fine Arts Center, 2000 Mirro Drive, Manitowoc. DEACON MEYER PRESENTATIONS: Deacon Steve Meyer will give presentations on the theme “The Real Presence” from 9 to 10 a.m. and repeated from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26; Tuesday, Feb. 27; and Wednesday, Feb. 28, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay. Deacon Meyer, who serves at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, is an author, national speaker and co-founder of programs that advance the dignity of God’s people. LENTEN CONCERT: The concert “Songs of Penitence and Praise” featuring soprano Yi-Lan Niu, Ph.D., and organist Devin Atteln, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at St. Norbert Abbey, 1016 N. Broadway, De Pere. The concert will feature classic pieces that reflect the penitential season of Lent. Niu is a professor in vocal studies and the director of the Opera Workshop Program at St. Norbert College. Atteln is assistant director of music at St. Norbert Abbey. Admission is free.
MEN’S CONFERENCE: The 2024 Esto Vir Conference will be held on Saturday, March 2, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, 4047 Chapel Drive, New Franken. ONE-ACT PLAY ABOUT ST. NORBERT: St. Norbert College, De Pere, will host the one-act play “He Walks Through Lightning,” which was commissioned by St. Norbert Abbey, De Pere. The event will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, in the Webb Theatre at the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, 315 Third St., De Pere. The production by Still Point Theatre Collective will invite the audience to travel back 900 years for a glimpse into the life and calling of Norbert of Xanten. Following the play, there will be a question-and-answer panel to learn more about St. Norbert from the actor who portrays Norbert as well as Norbertine Fr. MEN’S EVENING: Fr. Don Calloway, vicar provincial and vocation director for the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, will present “Devotion to St. Joseph in Our Times” at a gathering for men on Friday, March 8, at St. John the Baptist Church, 516 De Pere St., Menasha. Fr. Calloway is the author of 15 books, including “Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father.” The presentation follows 7 p.m. Mass.
WOMEN’S CONFERENCE: The 10th annual “In Mary’s Footsteps” Catholic women’s conference will be held on Saturday, March 9, at Good Shepherd Parish, 54 E. Main St., Chilton. Presenters include Fr.
