Dudley Birder Chorale 2025–26 season underway

DE PERE, WI — The historic Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College is celebrating its 51st season, bringing music lovers a season to remember in 2025–26, featuring everything from blockbuster film scores to holiday favorites and timeless masterworks.

Audiences can look forward to soaring choral classics, festive traditions, and even the magic of Hogwarts, all performed by one of Northeast Wisconsin’s most cherished musical chorales in collaboration with the community’s best ensembles.

Season highlights:

  • Then Sings My Soul — October 10, 2025: The 150-voice Chorale began with a powerful evening of hymn arrangements that have inspired generations. Beloved favorites like “Amazing Grace,” “It Is Well With My Soul,” “How Great Thou Art,” and “On Eagle’s Wings” filled Our Lady of Lourdes Church, De Pere, with hope and song.
  • Wizards, Whips & Wookiees — John Williams in Concert — October 18, 2025: From “Star Wars” to “E.T.” and “Jurassic Park,” experience the legendary film music of John Williams performed with the Civic Symphony of Green Bay at The Weidner. Tickets are available at gbcivic.org.
  • Christmas with the Chorale — December 6, 2025: A heartwarming evening of holiday carols and choral treasures at Nativity of Our Lord Church, Green Bay. Free will offering.
  • Holiday Pops — December 20, 2025: A timely Green Bay holiday tradition with the Weidner Philharmonic, featuring festive favorites and special youth performers at The Weidner. Tickets are available at weidnercenter.com.
  • Handel’s Messiah, Part II — March 29, 2026: The soaring “Hallelujah” spirit continues as the Chorale and Civic Symphony of Green Bay present this moving sacred masterpiece at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Green Bay. Tickets are available at gbcivic.org.
  • Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™ in Concert — April 18, 2026: Relive the magic as the Weidner Philharmonic performs John Williams’ unforgettable score live with the film — with the Dudley Birder Chorale lending their voices to the adventure at The Weidner.   • Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9” — May 2, 2026: A grand finale like no other! The Chorale joins the Weidner Philharmonic for Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9”, ending the season on a note of pure joy and triumph at The Weidner. Tickets are available at weidnercenter.com.
  • America Sings 250 — July 2026 (tentative): A patriotic summer celebration at historic Heritage Hill State Park.

“This season really has it all — from the epic drama of Beethoven and Handel to the fun of John Williams and Harry Potter,” said Kent Paulsen, artistic director of the Chorale. “We want audiences to leave every concert inspired, energized, and proud to be part of this community.”
