GIRLS’ LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE: (Above) The High School Girls Leadership Conference, held at the Resch Expo Center on October 3, offered girls ages 14-18 a half-day of engaging sessions, workshops, and presentations. While the conference welcomed high school girls from all over the area, more than half the attendees were Catholic school students. Professional leaders and educators Michelle Curran, Ali Starr, and Leah Jantzen provided keynote presentations designed to inspire and encourage the girls to become strong, successful women in the future.

Comments from attendees:

“I had an amazing time at the conference. The speakers were amazing, and it gave me time to think and reflect on my own life. I believe it’s so, so important to surround yourself with other strong-minded, faithful women!” – Lilah Jones

“I had a lot of fun at the conference, and I feel very empowered because of what I learned. I enjoyed the conference because I feel like the skills I learned will actually help me, and I also enjoyed how kind everyone was. I think we should all go back next year because I would love to learn even more and bring other people next time to teach them.” – Ally Behnke

“The women we listened to are all so strong, fierce, brave, beautiful, and amazing role models us teens need in life. The environment was so kind and inviting.”  – Lauren Paidl

“I learned a lot from these people. All the staff were super kind and thoughtful and helpful. It’s good to feel the same thoughts and feelings with people who are like you.” – Lauryn Peters
