St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish dedicates new outdoor cross with Bishop Ricken

ARMSTRONG CREEK, WI — On Sunday, November 2, 2025, Bishop David Ricken joined the faithful at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in Armstrong Creek for the dedication of a beautiful outdoor cross and prayer benches. The gift was made possible through a generous donation from parishioners Larry and Marlene Lotto.
The cross itself is aluminum and stands between 20-30 feet tall. It is flanked on each side by benches, creating a peaceful prayer space at the rear of the church campus.
St. Thérèse of Lisieux relics coming to Holy Hill Nov. 15-18, 2025

HUBERTUS, WI — For the first time in 25 years, the magnificent first-class relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux have arrived in the United States in honor of the 100th anniversary of her canonization. The relics will be on display at the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill from November 15-18.
One of the Church’s most beloved saints, St. Thérèse was called by Pope Pius X “the greatest saint of modern times.” She is known for her powerful intercession —especially in bringing souls back to the Church, inspiring conversions, healing, vocations, and countless quiet miracles. Our world is in need of her “little way” now more than ever.

Despite living a short life, her spiritual influence is profound. She died of tuberculosis in 1897 at the age of 24, was canonized a saint in 1925, and was declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997, as one of only four women saints to receive this honor.
Many events are being planned to celebrate and honor this beloved Carmelite saint, including a lecture series focused on her life, writings and spirituality, which began on September 27, 2025.
