VOCATION RETREAT: Norbertine Fr. Johnathan Turba will lead the “Summer Come & See Vocation Retreat,” Wednesday, June 26, through Sunday, June 30, at St. Norbert Abbey, 1016 N. Broadway, De Pere. The retreat will offer the opportunity for a deeper immersion in daily Norbertine life. Retreatants will spend time in prayer and liturgy and visit Norbertine apostolates and friends of the community in the Green Bay area. SUMMER CONCERT SERIES: Felician Village will host the first of four free summer outdoor concerts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at the main entrance of The Bistro, with Mission Karaoke singing summer hits. The Bistro Concert Series is sponsored by Nicolet National Bank. Mystic Moods Polka Band will perform favorites from Romy Gosz, Gene Heier, Doleysh Bros., Wayne Johnson and others at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 10. A special show featuring Elvis tribute artist Alan Graveen will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5. The Bobby Darren & Sheila Marie Country Music Show, paying homage to Grand Ole Opry legends, will close out the summer concert series at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14. (Darren, a Kaukauna native who has been performing with his niece, Sheila Marie, for three decades, was inducted into the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame.) Before each concert, brats and hamburgers with the fixings, along with refreshments, will be available for purchase. A 50/50 raffle will also be held to help support the Felician Village transportation program, FV on the Go. The Bistro is located at 1700 S. 18th St., Manitowoc. Bring your own chair.

WEDNESDAYS FOR WOMEN: Kathy Tilot will present “Women of the Mystics,” 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Norbertine Center for Spirituality, 1016 N. Broadway, De Pere. COOKING WITH EASE: McCormick Assisted Living will host a community “Lunch & Learn” titled “Cooking with Ease for Caregivers,” 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the assisted living at 212 Iroquois Ave., Allouez. Helpful nutrition ideas for quick, balanced meals and ways to increase fruit and vegetable consumption will be provided. The program is free and includes a box lunch. RUMMAGE SALE: St. Philip the Apostle Parish will hold its annual two-day rummage sale, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, at 312 Victoria St., Green Bay. Items include furniture, tools, kitchenware, linens, clothes, toys and books. Items are half-price on Saturday.

SPIRITUS TEAM: Spiritus seeks young adults to serve as part of a missionary team leading students into an encounter with Jesus and igniting their faith. Spiritus missionaries live in community and travel throughout Wisconsin from mid-August to mid-May, facilitating retreats for Catholic students in grades 2-12. Missionaries receive a monthly stipend, on-on-one mentoring, spiritual direction, food, lodging, health insurance and a $3,000 completion stipend. Applications are due by July 1. OSHKOSH CEMETERY MASSES: Summer memorial Masses will be celebrated at the Oshkosh Catholic cemeteries. Masses are scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1025 W. 5th Ave.; 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Riverside Cemetery, 1901 Algoma Blvd.; and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Calvary Cemetery, 2450 Algoma Blvd.   

ST. JOHN’S ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION GOLF OUTING: The “Terry Huiting Memorial” golf scramble, hosted by St. John Nepomucene Parish in Little Chute, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Irish Waters Golf Club, N4265 Murphy Road in Freedom. Start time is 9 a.m. The fee for each golfer is $75 if registered prior to Aug. 1 or $80 after that date. The fee includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, food, beverages and prizes. LITERACY GREEN BAY CELEBRATION: Literacy Green Bay will honor its volunteers, students and community supporters with a breakfast and award presentation, 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Legends Club Room of Lambeau Field, 1265 Lombardi Ave., Green Bay. Representatives from local sponsors will present awards, including Volunteer of the Year, Outstanding English Language Learner of the Year and Lifetime of Literacy. Literacy Green Bay was founded in 1981. Its mission is to help adults and families acquire the reading, writing, math, English language, computer and workforce skills they need to function effectively as workers and community members. KRESS INN WINS HOSPITALITY AWARD: St. Norbert College’s Kress Inn is a recipient of the 2024 Ring of Honor Award from Choice Hotels International Inc., one of the world’s largest lodging franchisers. The Ring of Honor designation is awarded to the top 1% of hotels within the brand. Award criteria are evaluated by Choice Hotels through its official property ranking reports. The Kress Inn is located in De Pere next to the F. K. Bemis International Center, which is a full-service conference facility that accommodates up to 200. FIVE-PARISH FESTIVAL OF FAITH: The parishes of St. Mary, St. John the Baptist and St. Patrick, all in Menasha, and St. Margaret Mary and St. Gabriel the Archangel, both in Neenah, are hosting the “Five-Parish Festival of Faith” on Saturday, Aug. 10, on the campus of St. Mary Catholic High School and Middle School, 1000 and 1050 Zephyr Drive in Neenah. The five-parish event will feature food, speakers, youth activities and Mass with Bishop David Ricken. The parishes invite you to: “Save the date for this ‘Olympic-Size’ Celebration!”
