Felician Village offers two programs: dementia community education on June 10 and special lunch on June 18

MANITOWOC — Felician Village will offer a free public workshop, “Our Aging Brain,” on Tuesday, June 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Felician Village, 1635 S. 21st St..

Are you wondering what is typical or when you should be concerned regarding your brain health? Join Sheri Fairm, MSW, CMD CP, of Dementia Care Solutions, LLC, as she helps attendees understand what can be done if thinking and memory problems arise.

The Village Café at Felician Village will also be offering a special lunch available for dine-in or takeout on Wednesday, June 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meal includes a burger or brat, baked beans, chips and a cookie for $8.00. 

Proceeds from the lunch sales will benefit the Felician Village Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team. The Village Café is open to the public. It is located in the Village Square at 1635 S. 21st St..

Felician Village, a nonprofit, continuing care campus in Manitowoc, has been providing housing and services for seniors through a membership program, rehabilitation, independent living, assisted living, and long-term care for more than 135 years. Felician Village is a faith-based organization that welcomes people from all faiths.
