APPLETON, WI — After 50 years of service to the Fox Valley Catholic and Christian community, St. Patrick’s Gifts & Books will officially close its retail store on July 31, 2026.

The store, located inside Northland Mall at 972 W. Northland Ave., Appleton, is holding a closing sale beginning June 1, 2026.

“This difficult decision was made due to changes in customers’ shopping behaviors, online competition, and the succession of store management,” said Patricia DeMarco, manager of the store. “The board of directors remains optimistic about how the St. Patrick’s entity may be restructured to continue making distributions to non-profit organizations in the future.”
