Manitowoc Franciscans initiate new novice
MANITOWOC, WI — Cyan Reed was accepted into the novitiate of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity during the Rite of Initiation into Religious Life on Sunday, June 8.
During the afternoon ceremony, Sr. Natalie Binversie, community director of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, conferred upon Reed the religious name Sr. Rose.
A native of Houston, Texas, Sr. Rose is the daughter of Anthony and Audrey Reed. She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Houston.
Sr. Rose is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work at Marian University in Fond du Lac.
