Young men preparing for priesthood joined by families at annual Mass and dinner
LEDGEVIEW — Seminarians of the diocese were joined by their families and other supporting faithful at the annual seminarian Mass and dinner on Thursday, August 14, at St. Mary Parish, Ledgeview. The event was sponsored by the East and West Green Bay Serra Clubs, part of the international organization that fosters and promotes priestly and religious vocations.
Bishop David Ricken was the main celebrant at the Mass and was joined by Fr. Mark Mleziva, vocation director at the Diocese of Green Bay, Fr. Kevin Ripley, director of the Kairos Year, Fr. Johnathan Turba, O. Praem., vocation director at St. Norbert Abbey in De Pere, among others. Norbertines in formation also attended the event.
