In my previous article, I asked for your prayers for the Right Reverend Dane Radecki, O. Praem., on his retirement as abbot of St. Norbert Abbey. I am grateful for Abbot Radecki’s leadership and service. As the election for the next abbot approaches, on January 15, 2026, I ask that you pray also for the election of the next abbot of St. Norbert Abbey. May the Holy Spirit guide the community in this process of prayer and discernment of their next leader.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray.
O God, who have taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
