The Diocese of Green Bay currently has a full-time opening for a Senior Parish Financial Consultant.
The Senior Parish Financial Consultant will oversee and perform financial, operational and compliance reviews of parishes and other diocesan entities on behalf of the Bishop. They will also prepare individual parish financial analysis to be used in the proxy process. This person will act as a resource to parish business administrators, bookkeepers, Finance Councils, and parish Treasurer Trustees on implementation of diocese standard accounting policies and procedures and on the use of diocese standard accounting software.
We are seeking a talented professional who has a bachelor's degree in accounting and five to seven years of accounting experience. MS Office and strong excel skills are required. Must possess a valid driving license. We would prefer someone with a CPA, audit experience, QuickBooks, Great Plains, or PDS accounting software knowledge, and nonprofit accounting experience.
