Description
The Coordinator of Faith Formation is a dynamic, relationship-focused, ministry-minded individual who oversees the Nativity formation programs and coordinates sacramental preparation.
Reporting to the pastor, responsibilities include:
*recruitment and training of catechists/volunteers
*selecting appropriate curricula and class structures in conformity with diocesan guidelines
*handling student registrations, records and communications with families
*publicizing programs and events
*ordering and managing materials needed to support formation
Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, including a strong digital and technology skill set. A bachelor’s degree is required as well as at least 2-3 years of classroom and family based experience. Candidates must be practicing Catholics and faithful to the teachings of the Church. This is a 10 or 12 month, full-time position with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure with time and resource constraints. Salary and benefits based on education and experience.
