GREEN BAY, WI — The six 2025 Faith That Works Award recipients, nominated for their dedication to living out their Catholic faith in the workplace, were joined by friends and family to be celebrated at the 12th annual Faith That Works Awards on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

The event took place on the campus of the Diocese of Green Bay offices, with Bishop David Ricken as the principal celebrant of the Mass. Fr. Tom Long, Fr. Paul Demuth, Fr. Mark Carr, SJ, and Fr. Jack Treloar, SJ, concelebrated with Deacon Todd Raether assisting.

This year’s recipients were as follows: Leah Ackley, the director of child and family ministry and pastoral care at Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly/Darboy; Scott Follett, the founder and owner of Primal Eats, craft meat smokehouse, restaurant, and caterer in Gillett; Jenn Jensen, a human resources support specialist at Oshkosh Corporation; Mike Kline, the cross country coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay; Jeff Martin, the chef and kitchen manager at the Jesuit Retreat House on Lake Winnebago; and Debbie Ruggles, a grounded café specialist at the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Brown County.

Bishop Ricken addressed the recipients during his homily.

“Those of you who are recipients of (the Faith That Works Award) today are really being recognized for your incorporation of the faith into your work life and vice versa,” he said. “So we thank you for making that testimony in whatever profession in life that you are involved in.”

Follett, the award recipient featured in the first 2025 issue of On Mission, and his wife, Sally, brought up the gifts before the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Bishop Ricken also gave a special blessing to all award recipients following the Mass.
